Of Ultrafeminism & Cynicism

If you are a guy these are woeful times. The feminist bandwagon is steam rolling on into the 21st century. There is now new legislation that states that men/fathers are NOT needed in the upbringing of a child.

People actually met in the House of Commons to decide this! Unbelievable what people are occupying their minds with these days. This is a sign that the world needs another Hitler, its been 50 years already. Supporters of this new bill said

"...the law is not an attack on fathers.."
Whatever sweetheart. Yeah I bet the first things the western settlers said to the Red Indians seeped with such sincerity. That is what the first pirate said to the merchant captain...

"we are just tying our rope to your ship to stop us floating away".

We all know how that turned out.

How do such things get voted in. Who provides the evidence or even conducts these studies about father or father figures not being necessary in a child's life. This bunch of red faced dames really have a bone to chew with men huh. We can;'t manhandle them so lets castrate them in the eyes of the law. Is this what is happening?

I heard of this women's group went to court about the name of manholes. They said the name for the hole way sexists so it should be changes to work/service access way/hatch. How trivial can you get ladies. Its a hole in the ground. anyway I don't see a line of women falling over each other to get jobs in those kind of places so what is bothering them.

If you think that is ludicrous then you haven't heard of the women trying to change the spelling of women to womyn. Yeah you read right. If they can be vented up about trivial names and spelling then they will be whole panzer divisions to oust fathers from parenthood.

Well I think they get most of the kindling for their fire from this politically correct movement that has gone into overdrive.
Too much of anything ain't good for ya.
Now is that an understatement.

Cynicism , I find is the only true state of mind that has constant rewards. If any ideology should be elevated to the status of a religion then it is cynicism. But I being a cynic know that it will never happen. That is the beauty of it! Cynicism and pessimism kind of flow with each other. Because If a cynic is right then generally bad things happens or get worse.

When I heard there was going to be a debate about whether to allow human-animal embryo hybrids, I laughed at myself. I was in the car drinking some juice and I nearly spilt it all over my jeans. That debate will be the greatest farce in modern legislation I thought to myself. Being a cynic I reasoned that all the interested commercial parties had already secured votes in this 'debate' (by whatever means, doesn't matter really, all that matters is the result.)Sure enough the debates came out as YES.

To bad you greenies and activists, why don't you spend your streetcorner cup collections on sending food to Somalia, we have a multi-billion dollar high tech medical lab to build now.

The greenies and the activists don't even have the money to appeal or sponsor a representative to lobby for their case. Unlike the industrialist who can burn billions

"Now we don't want o see you protesting on our building sites. Our 1000 dollar/hour lawyers will sue your pants off. Besides intimidation, harassment and threat of or actual damage now fall under the Terror Act so better watch it Robin Hood.

In as far as this merry-go-round goes...I think in the long run that corporations will have more say in what happens or doesn't happen, more than the government. Now with all these new patents coming up. Patents owning human genes. patents owning seeds, patenting of ownership of rain/lakes! At this point nothing can surprise me any more. The corporation has the advantage of having the same rights as a human so can own property , sue or be sued but unlike real humans cannot be held fully accountable for its actions, in other words you can't send a corporation to jail.

What is next, buying off chunks of the Amazon Forest, If I am not mistaken they are already busy on that one.

One cynic once said

The advantage of being a cynic is constantly being proven right and the occasional instances of being pleasantly surprised

Everyone is equal?

Everyone is equal...

Yeah, everyone is equal, some more than others.

21st century thinking goes with the façade that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law and therefore will be treated in the same manner. Really now.

A bomb blasts off nearby, you and your friend Amil are late for work and are running for the bus, the police are out there like its world war two...how do you think is going to go. I bet you'd be watching the game at home tonight but your friend will have to do a little more convincing...maybe even after a round trip to some 'unknown' destination.

This thing called democracy that the western world is peddling at missile point sounds like a nice thing but when it gets down to the practical details it tends to cut a lot of corners, sometimes avoiding the whole track altogether depending on your status.

Take the not so distant Paris Hilton thing...thing don't know what else to call it because no such high levels of BS has been put on prime time news. She got let out of prison early because she was claustrophobic! If ever there was a true mockery of the whole judicial system, this is a shining candidate.

Pete Dougherty was released from prison early because there was overcrowding. What?! It seems like something a comedian would come up with but judges and lawyers in frocks and suits came up with this. So they had no space to keep Pete, a drug multiple offender for possession and use but they had enough space for some poor guy who killed a cat? The prosecution could be seeking 6 months prison tern for the cat killer. Shining beacon of civil rights right there.

Does anyone not see the double handedness in this. If you are a nobody the law will crush down on you like the wrath of the Old Testament God, but if you are of high status and can push the numbers you not only piss and crap on the law but also get paid to tell the story to the media.

America has its biggest one. The OJ Simpson trial. I bet you if OJ was janitor at some public school his ass would be serving double life or be on death row right now. His celebrity and $$$$$$$$ carried the day for him. I believe the race card was not the deciding factor in the trial it was these two.

Lately the Prince has been flying round England with his new toy... flying to parties and picking up his girlfriend(s) and what not...an army Chinook, yes a great big helicopter, you couldn't hide it even in the Amazon jungle. I wouldn't suggest any army man, or lady, try this because they would be court-martialled before they could land that flying tank on the next airfield. But no, William can do that because he is the prince? He not only admits to doing it but further insults the public by defending it as if its 'ok'...No wonder they killed the royal family in Russia, if he wanted to gain flying hours then he should do it like everyone else does it in the army. It's not like is is actually going to go to war, supply trips hundreds of miles behind the front line is as close to action as he will see. Not only is he wasting tax payers money guzzling down Chinook fuel on his chick-mobile/chopper rounds but aren't these very same Chinooks badly needed some place else...I don't know...like Iraq maybe!

Then there is ol' pal Rooney. He avoided getting a 30 pound ticket. Geez man...Rooney the miser. Rich people should actually get a double ticket. The man earns thousands per week even if he does not play, just by sitting on the bench he gets paid, why is he complaining about a 30 pound ticket which he had clearly broken the law. Now had that been some average Joe that guy would be signing an extra cheque at the end of the month, almost guaranteed. Maybe the officer was star struck?

That is another problem that exacerbates the situation, the public and officials being star-struck by people of status that they give them preferential treatment. Ok, people may awe at them but also go as far as diverting the course of justice too?

I recently read of a man getting a criminal record for leaving his been open a few inches too wide. Yes you read right, I wonder how things would have gone had bin belonged to Buckingham Palace. Hmmm...

If your status is high enough and you have enough people ogling at you, you can get away with pretty much anything from drive and drunk to murder and chances are you can get paid for it too.

World justice, the UN, don't get me started. This picture is really what I think and we all know which countries are the top pier with veto powers despite all fairytale appearances. And when it comes to biting they have as much gnashing force as ol' Tom from down the road, arthritis and hip replacement.[picture credit nytimes.com]

This proves true on national scale too. For example the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Program. I think this picture says it all in the best way.

One only has to consider the circumstances in which Israel came to exist and become a military power to reckon with, which under normal circumstances would have had a snow balls chance in hell, and you'll know why the big five turned a blind eye to this but are all guns out on the merry bunch.

People rave on about the holocaust, which indeed was a great tragedy but I get kind of irritated when the media plays on it as if Jews are the greatest sufferers on the planet, no they are not. They had the British and US make the a nice country out of thin air, they have nukes plus the might of the us army as an ally. Besides, the way they treat Palestinians no longer qualifies them for that wounded child attention. it just goes to show any powerful bastard is exactly that...a bastard.
power corrupts...absolute power corrupts absolutely
The people who really have had it bad are the American Indians. Those guys are nearly extinct as a people and as a culture. Not only was their land completely invaded and overrun ...the invaders went on to make movies about the Indians being bloodthirsty barbarians ...when in fact those alleged acts of violence was homeland defense, something Israel publicly claims daily after attacking Palestinians. Those cowboy and Indian movies are actually genocide being portrayed to paying viewers.

The few Indians left, considering they were approximately half a million strong before the invasion are now on reserves and and fewer still dotted all over. It's like the next door guy moving into your living room and putting a stool in a corner

This is your stool Pocahontas, this is your corner and your corner alone, there is no carpet or great view there...but that is all yours. Now if you'll move out of the way I'll have to move in my bucker lounger

To top it off Indian lingo has been relegated to naming war ships like the Apache, Chinook and others which by my reckoning an Indian has never flown or atleast patroned. I wonder if some kids asks the teacher during PE class
This Cowboy and Indians is so fun. The Indians were really cool...what happened to them?
Oh we wiped them off the map, they were kinda living on the land that we wanted.
I'd like someone to say that. see how that goes. This reminds me of a quote from literary Sherlock Holmes, the master of deductive observation, which I modified...

The law is what we live with, justice is merely a guest.

October 26, 2007

How crazier can they get

Fear, whether real or perceived can cause people to act in irrational ways. People start having wild thought processes when presented with a situation which they would otherwise solve logically.

Because people are prone to these tendencies that is why justice or the law is not dispensed or enforced by the general populace. The populace entrusts the police institution with this power. The police institution is governed by a set of rules and codes of conduct that ensure effective policing.

Most of the time this system is assumed to work, depending on your background. It is undeniably subjective how efficient the police institution is.

So today I was not shocked that the police in England has sunk to a new low. After reading their final input on the De Menezes case this is the bottom line...

"You can and most probably WILL be shot dead for acting suspicious"

Apparently because he acted 'suspicious' that justified the police blowing his head away without a trial or questioning. And here we thought this country had outlawed capital punishment. Summary execution. How fantastic! As if being jailed for nearly a month without trial is not a gross infringement of human rights.

Doesn't this sound lie something you would read in a 13th century book or the Gestapo files. In my few years as an adult I have learnt great lessons on how to introduce tyrannical rules not sure if this is an actual law, but I would not be surprised if it was). When the police talk about him being suspicious you'd get the impression of this guy was walking down the street with a suicide vest, clutching an AK-47, screaming curses, crying out for blood...It turned ot to be less dramatic than that.

All you need is a 'terror threat' and that gives you liberty to change laws and abuse citizens in the name of 'national security'

Segregation...?

The big question. Well, maybe not the biggest but it is big.

Should races not mix?

World War 2 was centered around this theme and a particular race arises. The Aryan race. I am not sure how the Aryan race is different from the Caucasian race, whether its a subset of or wholly inclusive or exclusive of. I take it is wholly inclusive of. Their main claim was that their race was the most superior and every other race should bow to them. They wanted every other race to bow but the Jews had to go.

What I also find striking is that when I read the discretion of the ideal Aryan man...Hitler resembled non of them. Hitler did not have blue eyes, he was not blonde, he most definitely was not tall. Come to think of it non of his right hand men fitted the description. Most of them either had black hair or were short and fat. Talk about cracks on he glass, very big cracks at that.

For a time it seemed quite possible their claim was becoming reality. what with Auswitch , the concentration camp and the "Living space Policy sweeping and gulping up most of Europe. Indeed the 'Arian race' seemed to rule the world. But as fate would have it they were defeated by 'inferior races' and their Reich fell into ruin. This is very ironical considering their claimed physical and mental superiority. Actually the war ended with the people of the 'superior' Third Reich fleeing like sheep from a vengeful Red Star 'inferior race'. I find this quite comical.

The Third Reich died, so the world thought. They resurfaced in America under the neo-nazi banner some decades later. They were actually protected by the law. The First Amendment to be precise. Apparently in America everyone has the right to say and preach what they want even if the the country had been in a bitter war with the very same principle being propagated. America is either made up of very liberal people or very stupid people.

What I find hypocritical about this 'freedom of speech and ideas' is that communists ideology was persecuted like a virus. You could actually go to jail for even manifesting communist ideology , which by the way had not led to any war with any country before. But they found it perfectly acceptable to allow Nazism which HAD led to war with an idea that sought to suppress other race and achieve world dominance. Figure that one.

One could find meaning in this daylight double standard stunt in that the end goals of Capitalism and Nazism are not that very different. In the end they both aim to achieve a system that a very few people are in COMPLETE control of the masses. Capitalism would use credit and money system Nazism would use violence and fear. Different but the same end goal.

Communism in principle would dismantle the efforts of the above mentioned because it does not allow the accumulation of individual wealth and encourages 'sharing'. So it is easy to perceive why communism was a non starter in America. By itself Communism is a nice idea but it would never work because people like to own stuff. But the American government knew that the theory is powerful enough to recruit the power and may cause a revolution like in Russia. No one wanted that.

So quite clinically the neo-nazi movement flourished in America. But they could no longer do it Hitler style."Eliminate them and they because they and them are the reason for our problems"
WW2 was still fresh in people's mind's and the Nazi leaders knew that rhetoric would only result in people pulling up brick walls, only the hardcores would listen. So they came up with a solution

Segregation.

Well their logical was....because the races were mixing the friction was causing all this hatred SO if all the races lived in separate places then there will be no more hatred...and it's a wonderful world again! That sounds like a good idea Einstein only one problem. Its not practical.

Yes we could decide territories and build great big giant walls to separate the races (that sound familiar to you)..but there are some very influential people who would offer a great deal o resistance to that idea. Firstly when the territories are divided almost all the oil reserves will be located in 'coloured' people territory (coloured people i.e. Arabs, Blacks, Mexicans, Indians...you get the idea)

Now how will the great American economy sustain without Middle East oil. Secondly what about trade. China and Saudi Arabia and Indonesia are some of the quickest growing economies in the world and their trade is essential to some European countries. Thirdly other resources are only found in the other race's territory and that to me sounds like invasions will be inevitable under one pretext or the other, The Iraqi invasion has proven this o be VERY possible. I could bet a million dollars, If I had i, the race that would invade the other races' territories first.

How will intellectual ownership be dispensed. You cannot segregate intellectual material according to source after its already been used. Besides the cultures are already so mixed that whether people admit it or not each race has picked out atleast one tradition from the other. People in Brits and Americans eat sushi and noodles, they watch anime series. Wembley Stadium was packed to see Michael Jackson. There is a Macdonald's in Mumbai Europeans buy farms and homes in Africa. Every American knows Salsa and Vodka etc etc.

One point I find very intriguing is that Neo-nazis claim to be Christians. That's all very well but odd considering the founder of that religion was a Jew himself. Is it a sarcastic flare or a resounding tone of ignorance. Germany, the 'father land' were all the 'superior' people are
uses 'inferior' Russian rockets to launch satellites.

Lastly there is a small but rather potent reason that some influential people in society and politics are in racially mixed relationships and i doubt they would drop them at the sound of a bell. How will they be worked around. Do I hear night of the long knives whispering in the background. That would be the only direct solution to such influentials as they may pose a direct threat to the segregation

Its funny how the 'Aryans' now want segregation when in the first place they went around the globe colonizing technologically disadvantaged races and brought them to work for them or displacing them. Now they are just saying . "We don't want to see you anymore go away'. Well, if only things were that simple. For starters they can't go anywhere bacouse you are on their land!

Segregation...does that also mean that all non Indians will leave America and all non Aboriginals will leave Australia...I think not...if not all talk of segregation is just blah blah blah which unfortunately frustrated people will grab at to relieve their anger. When an Arian goes around screaming that he does not have a job because of a Mexican that is just the lowest point.

Suppose we all agree to stay on the land. As a matter of fact...Who...decides which races occupies which part of that land. Apparently the one with more and bigger guns as history has so loyally taught us. Poof, there goes that little dream of 'no hatred after segregation'.

You don't have a job because you don't have qualifications. I am sure if you, as 'superior' as you are would have made it clear to that 'superior' owner of the company who is almost certainly an Arian that you were the right person for the job...apparently not. You live in a trailer home because you don't have education and a proper job....because the other Aryans at the top do not place a lot of value in your 'superiority' as much as you think. Unlike you they are capitalist and they are only smiling at your movement so that you don't turn on them and the occasional periods were your violence is needed to propagate war...allowing them to make billions in weapons sales while you are in some ditch with a rifle chanting racial slogans otherwise they are out to 'own' you and the Mexican, and the Negro and the Arab.

Their only real worry are the Chinese...because they are competing to own stuff. (And maybe the Russian because they have a whole lot of nukes in their garden shed)

Craziest week in 2007

So a B-52 bomber flew over the nation. I don't care.....they can fly a million of them if they like.

They were carrying bombs.....I am a little concerned but i don't really care.

They were carrying nuclear bombs.

Now I am alarmed but then I sit back, the army, which undertakes everything in our best interests, must have a good reasons for this. Maybe they needed moving for security reasons or new facilities

What, non of the above. They were moved by MISTAKE!!!

You don't move nukes around by mis-ta-ke.
I crate of grenades can be moved by mis-ta-ke.
These are nukes...

In case you don't understand the magnitude of this mis-ta-ke imagine Hirishima multiplied a hundred times right up in your backyard. That ***t is serious. The thought of that plane crashing is beyond horrifying.

If those nukes were loaded onto the bomber by mistake that means for some time the nukes were missing and no one knew about it!

That is just chilling, just chilling. If anything should have water tight security on this God foraken planet its a nuke. If security has gone lax on nukes like this then maybe we need the good old cold war days back so everyone can be tip top alert.

Damn, not one, not two, not three, not four but five nukes. In a bomber going round for a spin I am glad to learn that Base Commander has been fired.

...we don't play like that man...

I believe more heads should roll, there was obviously a chain of complacency that led to NUKES being loaded by mis-ta-ke....

For a civil engineer there is no such thing as a 'little mistake'...the same is for an army handling nukes on home soil.

**********
What is this about the Russians flying 8 bombers towards UK airspace only to turn back at the last moment. I s everyone gone crazy. This week gotta be the cherry on the cake for this whole year.

Nobody wants war especially amoung first world countries...it wont be like hey Russia declared war in us...we going to invade them now...It will only be a matter of pushing buttons and the populations hears the announcement on the radio that nukes have been launched.

Then its time to go home, have a last five minutes with your woman, then sit back on that couch, light a cigarette, whisper a prayer and puff away the last seconds of your life.

Smile and wave boys, smile and wave

I just saw a banner that said: What can we do to make the cure for cancer a priority?

We...Nothing! a resounding nothing at that. These pigeons must be high on sweetener. Make cyr for cancer a priority...huhck....these people probably believe that Superman is real. Get this through your head. It ain't never gonna happen baby doll.

The drug companies learnt their lesson on smallpox. Man they went all out on that one. legions of scientists working on a cure for that ma'f****. And what did they get for that...a quick boots in sales and everyone forgot about it after the epidemic was under control. Same thing with polio and others.

So now just it playing the "smile and wave boys, smile and wave". Why, they are making billions on cancer therapy , no need to whip up a cure really as far as their account books are concerned and believe me the account books make a lot of the policies. Contrary to the humanistic, 'save the world' rhetoric.

Besides cancer is not an emergency like say the plague or smallpox. There is no sense of alarm so it will continue to take the back seat because more often than not cancer is as a result of lifestyle.

All this make the world a better place talk is just really day dreaming. As long as there is money and some resources of one sort or the other to be plundered you can kiss your toothless Un bye bye. They are just scarecrows.

Even the amazon, when push comes to shove, the multi-national companies will trample it albeit tree hugger rantings. Today tree huggers are only tolerated because the multi-nationals can afford it. What about the consequences?

Well believe it or not the multi-nationals have thought about it and probably have more research data on ozone depletion that any tree hugger organization and they probably have already worked out ways to commercially exploit the consequences.

So cancer, Aids, global warming and ozone depletion are probably on the 'To Do' last page just under 'ending human torture' and nuclear disarmament.

Wondering what is on the first 100 pages...its simple. After 'Get Rich'... there is this all the way until the last page

'Get More...Get More...Get More..."

Nikola Tesla: Our Genius

Nikoli Tesla - The Forgotten Genius
Sunday, November 13, 2005 - FreeMarketNews.com

The story about Nikoli Tesla is the story of a genius who was largely disrespected and abused by other scientists and inventors -- many of whom stole his ideas and took credit for his discoveries. ...

Tesla's discovery of the rotating magnetic field produced by the interactions of two and three phase alternating currents in a motor winding was one of his most significant achievements of the century, and formed the basis of his induction motor and polyphase system for the generation and distribution of electricity. ...

In 1895, the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company and General Electric Company joined forces to harness the power of Niagara Falls with electricity, using Tesla's technology. ...

Tesla's generation of electricity resulted in what is known as alternating current, or AC. In alternating current the polarity and strength of the energy is continuously changing or alternating. ...

To this day, the three-phase form of Tesla's polyphase system is still used for the generation and transmission of most electricity. Moreover, the conversion of electricity into mechanical power is made possible by updated versions of Tesla's three-phase and split phase motors. ...

Tesla's experiments with high frequency and high potential alternating currents resulted in the development of the "Tesla coil." This device is a transformer with an air core that has both its primary and secondary tuned in resonance. As part of other experiments Tesla also developed the precursors of modern neon and florescent lights. He constructed these lights, elongated glass tubes filled with gas and coated with phosphor, excited in his high voltage experiments. He also discovered that high voltage current could be made harmless by using an alternating current scheme at very large frequencies. ...

In 1943, the Supreme Court granted full rights to Tesla for the invention of radio, nullifying the claims of Marchese Gugliemo Marconi who had patented a two-tuned-circuit design and a more practical four-tuned-circuit modeled after Tesla's. Marconi's patent on the invention of radio was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court because Tesla's work predated it (Case #369, 6/21/43). ...

Tesla's 1903 patents 723,188 and 725,605 contain the basic principles of the logical AND circuit element basic to all computers. ...

Tesla also envisioned a way to send electricity through the air and through the Earth so that electrical power would be available everywhere, even in remote corners of the planet. This technology, which was only understood by Tesla himself, was incorporated in another famous experiment in 1908, where Tesla attempted to remotely light up the sky over the North Pole as a way of demonstrating this wireless power transmission technology to the world. ... Many believe that Tesla's experiment that evening caused the world's largest man made explosion in the remote Siberian village of Tungusta. ...

If Tesla's power beam really did accidentally cause the Tungusta explosion, then we witnessed the first experimental use of the same weapon system has been developed by the US Department of Defense in Alaska's remote Poker Flats area, just North of Fairbanks. (See HAARP: A weapon of Total Destruction.) Although the capacity for destruction in Tesla's primitive prototype (some estimate equal to a large hydrogen bomb) was huge, this new military system is almost surely many magnitudes greater. Also, many similar systems have been deployed in a dozen specific locations around the globe -- presumably to be operated together for some undisclosed purpose

So it is no surprise that the work of this man has been marginalized...or more correctly...suppressed

Not suppressed because they did not like him but because the powers that be realised the revolutionary potential of his discoveries and inventions. For one the newly formed electricity companies saw a great threat in his invention that allowed the transmission of electricity without wires across appliances and the invention of sending electric power using the ionosphere and the earth to considerable distances, further than cables. Anyone could therefore tap into it. Problem number one, how do you meter that electricity...you can't....so you can't bill it...therefore it would have made electricity more or less a free commodity. It is easy to see why his inventions had to be buried?

Also his generators were capable of producing then unheard of voltages, these generators could discharge to anywhere via the ionosphere. Because the voltage was so huge 9possibly higher than lightening) it caused such massive explosions. You can see what the military establishment would be very interested in grabbing that technology keeping that to themselves.

Tesla was a man ahead of his generation, way ahead. The nincompoops of his time did not see a genius before their very eyes. When he demonstrated lighting a sorte of bulbs from a generator WITHOUT a wire or cable connected to any of them thought he was just a clever magician. That is how ignorant those quacks were!

So it is not surprising that it was easy to build a campaign of ridicule against Tesla, that smeared his image in this dull public whilst at the same time stowing away his discoveries and inventions.

These campaigns were mainly successful because Tesla, being the genius he was, proposed things that at that time seemed impossible. He proposed that it was possible to send our likeness , images, using radio waves. Television! But imagine the crudes at that time ...they probably thought of him with the same contempt we treat UFOists today, very easy to ridicule.

He even proposed to build the ultimate weapon for the US army, which he had invented but no details are available about wree the patent or plans for the machine went. Hmmm.

Now today we can readily recognise the potency of his inventions but apparently a good number of his patents are reportedly inaccessible or missing. What a coincidence.

You see genius' are only celebrated when what they have to offer has no implications on the multi national industries and military establishments. That is why Isaac Einstein readily comes to mind when you think genius. His science did not clash with the establishment so you see it everywhere,,,besides very few people can actually REALLY understand his theories let alone put the to use.

Nikola Tesla also studied balls of lights and successfully produced them using his mega generator. He also studied the effects of electric fields and frequency on human physiology and behaviour after ne noticed that the townsfolk in the village that his transmission tower was built behaved differently after each time it was tested. It was only over half a century later that his discovery were looked at in the medical field. There have been unconfirmed reports of the use of this technology in Russia to affect behaviour during the cold war yet this man lived nearly a hundred years ago...

Tesla's inventions are slowly seeing the light of day, though in a minuscule way, a hundred years later on in gadgets like the Visteon . Imagine what the world would be like had people only embraced his technology. You can only wonder.

Are We Alone

I have seen many documentaries going on about this idea on the discovery channel. Though they present an interesting topic, frankly they are a bit shallow.

Any human being with a solid mathematical background realizes that it is mathematically improbable that we we are alone. Consider the vast number of star and the planet system around each star, now consider other galaxies!

It is the highest form of arrogance to assume we are the only sentient creatures. A human cannot possibly have a a bigger ego that that. It would be a considerable waste of space don't you think? All of the universe for puny humans.

the very thought of being alone is frightening, but also is the thought of not being alone! If that were the case that we are alone then God aimed a bit low. he certainly had high hopes if you ask me.

Humans are the most undeserving creatures.

Some skeptics and scientist dismiss the notion of other sentients, possibly they are drunk on the idea that they are the most intelligent things around. Maybe scientist or humans do not want to give up to this euphoric self satisfying idea.

One wonders were all the talk of aliens comes from. The main propagators are UFO sightings, video and camera. I must admit that most of the footage put across as evidence is inconclusive and in some cases dodgey.

The footages is mostly obscure lights with no reference of scale that are quickly explained away by questionable 'experts' as weather balloons or flares. Though I do contest that any sane human being can tell the difference between a powered light and a flare light or the deference between a weather balloon and an object darting across the sky faster than a jet fighter.

So why do the conspiracy theories keep coming. The government and 'experts' are themselves the culprits. The conspiracies are fueled by government denials, changing official stories and 'hush-hush' especially on "Roswell' and 'Army Servicemen Sighting' type stories. The half baked explanations by 'experts' for the strange lights/objects zig-zagging and pulling unimaginable manouvours do nothing in the way of quenching the fires of conspiracy theories either.

Whilst there most 'sighting' have logical explanations there is a great flaw in summary dismissal of 'sightings' just because there is no solid evidence. Just as well there is no solid evidence that there was no 'sighting'.

"The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence"

Then what if the skeptics give in and admit 'others' have been here. Why come in the first place?

The others are intelligent enough to build a ship to transverse space, directly or indirectly. They obviously have more sophisticated society than humans. They have nothing to gain from us. To them we are just a bunch of crudes hell bent on self destruction.(and they had their fingers crossed in 1945 and had made good bets during the cold war)

Well I can offer two reasons why they might be interested in us.

1. They are the all benevolent 'others'. Highly developed. +100 000 years of technology. Is that hard to imagine? Even in the time we have been around, circa 2000 years of civilasation, a race with a better grasp of important things could be atleast 2 times ahead of us if they spent their last 500 years on better things than...

Trying to conquer the world
trying to conquer the world
Trying to enslave anyone who has less guns than you
Trying to conquer the world
Trying to wipe out anyone who does not look like you
Build a-bombs
Trying to wipe out anyone who does not agree with you
Trying to wipe out anyone you think/suspect is against you(even if you are high on paranoia)
Build more a-bombs

If anyone was asked to draw up a list of human activity in the last 500 years they would come up with a list like that. Aren't we a lovable bunch!

It is particularly the last one that might be an interest to our benevolent 'others'. They might not be thoroughly impressed at all with our little toys, unlike our George Bushes and Dick Chaney's.

You see they would have had any problems wen we played with the other little toys but this toys can have cosmic effects . Apparently there are unconfirmed reports that the US tested a nuke in space. Nukes leave a distinct signature in space that can be detected from light years away. These signatures are So different from natural radiation patterns they are analogous to firing a flare and screaming. "There are sentients here!"

So you can conceive why our benevolent other would be very much interested in our toys and are dropping by to check stuff out.

2. Then comes the 'others' who have been depicted in almost every SCI-Fi movie. The 'we want everything you got' others, the malevolent. These could be your average predators looking for any resources to colonise. Their behaviour is much akin to ours. read any text book about what happened when a technologically advanced civilisation met a less advanced one. Its so common its cliche.

Hence the apprehension of the benevolents about our toys. They certainly don not like the attention that would come with our reckless nuclear signatures that are being broadcast to anyone who cares to listen.

The "There are sentients here!" quickly becomes
"There are a whole bunch of half wit egotistic sentients here begging to be pruned!"

This conjecture culminates to the estimation that the benevolents are the ones that are closer to us. This is drawn upon the elusive behaviour and "checking you out' kind of routine. A malevolent by nature would not indulge such trivialities.

Then again these are just conjectures. One can only wonder at the possibilities

Another Point of View

I believe I am a person of above average intelligence. My report sheets from high school and college bear more that fair testament to that.

So it is not surprising that when I am watching the news I can see through most of the donkey fodder being dished out to the general populace as information.

How they want everyone to believe everything is black or white, they are good, the others are all evil.

That Iraq had nuclear weapons. That the war in Iraq is actually improving things (they said that during the Vietnam war but it is now common knowledge that it was hell over there only made worse by American presence)

I often see the political gimmicks in play. I try to comment about these as much and as often but I never really get the time. I have these points but I never get them formulated or articulated.

Sigh...

What to do.

Recently I have came across a blogger who magnificently puts all these points together in such a way that I could not have done it better myself. Some of this blogger's points had never occurred to me and that is why I enjoy reading his posts.

If you are anyone who does not accept just being fed fodder from politicians and "news interviews" and "expert opinions" you might want to give this blogger a read

Stripping Civil Rights

So today the released the man they had accused of being a "conspirator".

Prosecutors told the court a mobile phone SIM card that had belonged to Haneef ( the man who was arrested) was found in the burned-out vehicle used to "attack" the international airport in Glasgow.

How charming. What the law is saying is that if I buy my cousin a phone for his birthday or something I can be arrested without charge for 25 days if he is later involved in some crime?

I knew from day one they had nothing on this man. This was so because they did not immediately declare their reason for the arrest. Knowing these officials they usually want to gloat in their efficiency and detective work.

Here they only went on about how he was a suspect without any further details. That sounds like they just wanted to arrest someone, anyone to quell public anxiety. Is this right, should this be done at the expense of liberty?

This man is well within his rights to sue these officials for gross violations of human rights ( which ironically these same officials claim to defend but they incarcerate individuals without trial)

Today sky news was bloated with excerpts of the interview with the "wife of the 7/7 bomber". They did not even display her name. They interviewer kept asking leading questions . It was obvious what the interviewer wanted. She wanted the wife to deny her husbands actions.

At one point she even challenged why the wife ( Hasina Patel) still prayed for her husband after what he had done. Well excuse me. That he was a bomber does not change the fact he was her husband and the father of her children.

One is compelled to feel sad for the wife as she was continuously prodded with leading questions. It appeared she was giving them what they wanted to here and when she told her ordeal during and after the situation it was simply brushed aside by more leading questions.

What is more they even arrested her in May. EIGHT officers came to arrest a woman in her house. What does that say. It's not like she had a history of maniac violence or had any such tendencies. If that is not prejudice then what is.

She was arrested for nearly a week without charge. Oh yeah, she was busy being involved in the bombing whilst she was having a miscarriage, or before when she could read her husbands mind whilst juggling pregnancy on the other side, yeah that is very reasonable! Is this the democracy the gun totting British and American army are going around the world spreading.

One would think they would relent. But there plans by the new prime minister to extend the detension to 56 days without charge. Oh yeah, why don't we just do away with the constitution while they are at it and go back to medieval law and just seize people on 'suspicion.

More and more civil liberties are being stripped in the name of "war against terrorism"

What is terrorism anyway?

The definition of terrorism is subjective. subjective to who is dominating. American say that they want to stop terror? terror is a war tactic not an idea. Just like guerrilla . You can't fight a war against guerrilla tactics or eliminate, it is a tactic used usually by a smaller force when fighting a larger force they cannot confront directly.

Anyway, all the coalition forces are the biggest hypocrytes. America used terrorism on Japan. The nukes wree directed at civilian cities and was meant to instill fear in them and push them to surrender. Statistics allege that as much as 505 of people killed by coalition weapons are non combatants. The shelling and raiding of homes at gun point and over night air raids. Is that not terror

"Just as long as we do it, its ok."

Ok, so many young Muslims have taken the extreme road and have gone all out on uncle Sam and Goergey. Well the coalition forces can TRY to kill tem all but I guarantee you that it will accomplish nothing.

This is because no one is addressing the root cause f WHY they decided to go extreme.

"You can trim the bush all you want but it will grow again, even thicker than before"

The more they invade and kill and intimidate the more extreme the next generation will be. Hatfel aggression only breads more hateful aggression. So unless the coalition plans to nuke the whole middle east the invasion and open aggression is futile

Or is it. Unless the real reason to invade was not to fight terror but to further other intentions. Say some black sticky stuff and construction deals? Just a an educated guess.

The main reason brought to popular attention is the encroaching of western culture . As much as westerners are proud of their culture it leaves a lot to be begged in as far as desirability to other cultures. It is highly distructive and encourages behavior that is unnatural and untoward. All the other cultures would prefer that Americans keep their culture to themselves and indulge all they want and not try to force it on others.

Another reason, more potent I think, is the exploitation of resources by western corporations, mainly in the oil industry.
Thirdly the occupation of their motherland by hostile forces who they want out ( who won't go out because they are busy protecting the looting of oil fields, what with oil being sold at ridiculous prices).

At the worst there were less than 10 000 casualties on 9/11, less than 300 on 7/7....all isolated incidents with severe overtones of government involvement but over 1 000 000 people have been killed, and any intelligent man knows that over half them were not combatants and at the end of whose guns they fell.

Extremist organistions are of course undesirable, everyone wants then to go away, but GI-Joe mentality is unlikely to solve but compound the matter by producing more desperate extremists, the think tanks at the pentagon surely must knock their heads some more to address the root problems. Can't or won't?

Who is really terrorizing who?

Breakfast With Mugabe

This Royal Shakespearean play was first performed in October 2005 and has been occasionally performed since.

The play was directed by Anthony Sher and written by Fraser Grace.

Being a person born and brought up in that particular country I am much concerned with what goes on there. When I watch what is going on there it is moving and frustrating even more so to the people who are there.

This is a far cry from the Zimbabwe that was welcomed into the world community in 1980. It was such a joyous moment in history marked by prominents like Bob Marley and Princes. With an economy that paralleled any in the world, the Zimbabwe dollar traded one to one with the pound, it was truly the jewel of Africa!

It is nothing less than shocking now what the situation is like. A world record highest inflation in the history of mankind. The exporting nation is now scrapping to get by.

What could have happened to affect this jewel of a nation and cast it in muddy waters. Most people point the finger at one man. Robert Mugabe, the president of Zimbabwe. Yes, you can build quite a case against his decisions over the last 10 years or so. It would be quite easy to portray Mugabe as the all out villain. Agreeably, no amount of debate could actually change the stat of affairs faced by the people actually living there.

But the play Breakfast With Mugabe takes a new twist. It brings out a complex character. The character of Mugabe has his point of view laid out in the play. Though you might not readily subscribe to his views they are all the same legitimate views and thus they present a challenge to the prudent person about making a decision on what is going on.

Western politics has adopted the stance of "us" and "them", "good" and "evil". Is the world that clearly cut out? Anyway history is written by the victors.

The play explores elements of Mugabe's "psyche" and the thoughts that haunt him and the undeniable presence of fear in the country. There are strokes of humor in the tense interviews with his psychiatrist who is given the daunting task of analyzing the president whilst being pressured by the first lady who has her own ulterior motives whilst maneuvering under the eagle eyes of the state secret service.

Plot summary:**** Soho Theatre, London

by Michael Billington, Saturday April 15, 2006

We are often told that political theater is one-sided, partial and unfair. But I recommend the skeptics to take a look at Fraser Grace's compelling 90-minute play presented as part of the RSC's New Work season. It leaves you in no doubt as to the paranoia and corruption of Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe regime while also reminding you of the colonial context from which it emerged.

Seizing on a cryptic newspaper report, Grace shows Mugabe holed up in the sumptuous Harare State House in 2001 and being stalked by the malevolent spirit of a dead comrade. But, unlike Macbeth similarly haunted by Banquo, Mugabe is able to summon up a shrink to resolve his problem: in this case, the white, tobacco-farm owning Dr Peric who works in a Harare hospital. Acting as a mixture of psychiatrist and political interrogator, Peric helps to lay Mugabe's ghost; but at disastrous cost to himself, his family and his fellow landowners.

"You and Robert, so much alike," says Mugabe's chic second wife to the control-freakish Peric; and Grace's point is the Shakespearean one that racial arrogance and cruelty breed their own revenge. Grace reminds us of the years of white domination in the former Southern Rhodesia: he also shows Mugabe's bitter memory of being refused permission by Ian Smith, in the course of his 11-year detention, to bury his young son. At the same time, Grace vividly depicts Mugabe retreating into Ceausescu-like isolation, sanctioning appalling thuggery, and lapsing into demagogic electoral rhetoric.

There is a something a little too neat about the implied transference of Mugabe's "ngozi"- or evil spirit - from the patient to the doctor. And Antony Sher's production could afford to tone down the volume in moving from the Swan to the Soho. But Sher, who has played both Macbeth and Shylock, clearly understands the piece's Shakespearean dimensions. Joseph Mydell also invests Mugabe's autocratic self-delusion with an unexpected layer of irony as when he wryly announces: "I have been informed that I will not live for ever."

David Rintoul excellently brings out the colonial patronage that underlies Peric's pyschiatric professionalism. And there is sterling support from Noma Dumezweni as Mugabe's stylish but secretly terrified wife. But the power of the play lies in its ability to put Zimbabwe's current tragedy into a historical context and to remind us of the truth of Auden's observation that "those to whom evil is done do evil in return".

Mentarch's 8 Principles of Incompetence

I recently came across a great read. It encompasses the idealogical thinking of those who rule us. Go through them and see if this description does not echo the very being of your betters.

You could call this a psychiatric analysis if you are a slave of everything defined by science.

Zeroth Principle : Incompetence is driven by intellectual sloth.

First Principle : Incompetence surrounds itself with incompetence.

Second Principle : Incompetence is ethics-impaired.

Third Principle: Incompetence abhors transparency and accountability.

Fourth Principle: Incompetence does or says anything to defend itself.

Fifth Principle: Incompetence always supports incompetence.

Sixth Principle: Violence is the last refuge of incompetence.

Seventh Principle: Incompetence is nothing but consistent with itself.

World 's Nose dive into Fascism?

The world, led by America is taking a nose dive into fascism.

No way? lets look at it then

1. The "war on terror" and the Patriot Act that allows gross infringement of Civil rights and indefinite imprisonment on "suspicious activity" without charge.

2. Propaganda mills in overdrive. I have never before witnessed the reason for a war change over 4 time in less tan two years. the original reason is a far cry from the current one. Not to mention this circus has nothing to do with the real real reason.

3. "You are either with us or against us". they very words of GWB. If you challenge the war or Patriot Act then you are with the"enemy" or a traitor. People have been physcally and verbally abused for challenging the war or the accompanying policies.

4. The idea of an infallible leader. A leader who is always correct and can do ANYTHING to safeguard the "sovereignty of the nation"

5. The existence of a 'threat" to this sovereignty. A class of people who are the root of this problem. A class of people who are responsible for this "threat" and all the encompassing problems.

"You should hate them, loathe them, get rid of these people."

This group of people MUST be removed to make everything alright (50 years ago it was the Jews).

People will generally dismiss notions such as this because of the 'I believe what I see" syndrome or "My leader says so" syndrome. But by them it will be too late. Ask any 80 year old German if they thought nazism was coming in 1930 and what leaders say is usually in their interest not the public's best interests.

Some might say that it's the republicans, its the democrats-I got news for you my friend, NONE of them actually decide anything about anything. The muscle behind them actually make the real decisions that just get rubber stamped after an default "debate."

Give fascism a new coat of very thin paint (democracy?), Sprinkle a few glitters of human aide for support by narrow minded civilians. Give power centralisation a new term (nation unions?), Take out the tanks and guns from blitzkrieg and you got yourself the European Union. Call everyone who does not want to join you a "terrorist sympathizers" and invade them to make them "comply". Put on a "liberator" cap on the invasion forces and you are almost done. Congratulations you have managed to dress up fascism as globalisation.

If that doe not smell like the genesis of fascism then I do not know what is.

Womens and Children's Rights

These two have to be the biggest heists in modern history. Men have had the wool pulled over their eyes and adults are being made to play merry-go-round by these little monsters.

Women's rights have taken a most offensive turn. They are highly selective. Selecting only what suits them. The image portrays how selective idealism can lead to oppressive laws. If women want men's rights then they should get the whole package not just part of it. Women only want the sweet side of being a man.

Say, women demanded the vote. They got. They demanded managerial jobs. they got them. And to think they even demanded that job titles be changed to suit them. manager to manageress

Well woman or not everyone is a man so I do not see where the big problem is. woMAN or MAN, the same thing...all men just the prior is a special kind of man.

How come I always see women demanding to be the mayor, the president or senator but I NEVER seem a group of women outside some coal mine demanding jobs. Or outside Shell Headquarters demanding jobs on an oil rig in the middle of the pacific.

Women wanted trousers, they got them but they do not want the responsibility and workload that comes with it. You can't have a piece of the pie without getting cream all over your hands madam.

How come when a ship is sinking women get to go on the lifeboats wit the children yet they declare themselves equal to men. In hostage situation the negotiators always asks for at least to let the women and children go. That is a paradox of their much publicized campaign.

Do you know why you don't see a lot of women, if any in infantry battalions? It's because men will get more affected by the death of a female soldier than of a male counterpart and are more likely to act out of emotion at the expense of strategy. Which is the last thing you want to do in a war. yet at the back of my mind I can hear some shout "we are the same".

When there is a burgler downstairs who is asking the man to go. When there is a burning house where are those self professed macho woman with their short hair and men's shirts. Why don't they volunteer to save the old lady on the 3rd floor. You are big as a man are you? Why don't you try a road drilling machine on tar for an hour or so. When there is a leak on the roof where are these activists to lend their very able hand.

Women are inherently different from man, though these activist choose to remain oblivious of this. Women cannot take the same amount of physical toll as men and that is a fact undeniable. Why? For the same reasons men can never bear children and women cannot lift crates or represent the power of violence.

In a marriage women these days demand EQUAL rights with their male companions but when it comes to divorce they suddenly turn into the weak vulnerable woman who needs support and money from the man, to be more exact, half of his money! This is astounding, before the divorce they will be going around claiming.

"I'm an independent woman."

I came across these cases recently from SilverWolfe and chrispy1 in Brisbane and Canada, Oakville ONT

Example 1: In Sydney, a male-only gym was successfully sued and closed down because it discriminated against women by not allowing them membership. However, women-only gyms are very common, and they even use the idea that men are desperate to join, but can't, as a marketing tool. So, it's okay to discriminate against men, but not women, is that what you're saying?

Example 2: My alumni, the Queensland University of Technology holds an annual awards ceremony where a white male is not eligible to win any of the awards. All the awards are centered around excellence in being a woman...

Example 3: A group pressured the government to change any phrase or word with "man" in it to more "comfortable phrasing". Manhole? Underground Service Entrance. Garbageman? Sanitation Engineer. This is outright madness. Maybe they should rewrite the bible and make Jesus a woman. Oh, maybe the first person on the moon should have been Neil Armstrong's wife. Ok what about the word "manhandle" what should that be changed to fair and equal ones?

As if women are dying to do the jobs in these fields anyhow, yeah right.

Example 4: A man went to pick up his girlfriend who was at a gym class. He walked into the lobby and started heading towards the cafeteria (which was all of 30 feet from the front door) when 3 female security guards came out of nowhere and asked him to leave. He explained he was just getting a coffee and was then going to sit in the lobby to wait for his GF, when he was told that the women wouldn't feel comfortable having a male on the premises. He was then escorted outside and one of the guards stood by the door until he left.

If this had happened in a male gym I could see it being closed down and lawsuits flying about women being suppressed.

Example 5 : In the UK there is an insurance company that offers low premium cove JUST BECAUSE you are a woman. I bet if there was an insurance company called Butch that offered low insurance cover JUST BECAUSE you are a man these ladies with the flying banners and red cheeks would have rained fire and brimstone to have it closed or sued for millions under the guise of female discrimination. But if women do it, it's ok?

Frankly the law over protects women. women are number two on the over protected list after criminals.

Which brings us to the third most protected people , children.

Children are now immune to discipline. The law says that. scolding is tantermount to emotional abuse and they can call the police on you. Spanking is categorically physical abuse, police will hurl your ass to jail. So how on earth are you supposed to discipline children. God knows they need discipline.

There is a clear distinction between spanking and battery. For one, spanking does not leave any marks or contours as it is administered on muscle tissue where it does not cause trauma like the face or arm or chest.

Psychiatry is the biggest balloon of hot air in this day and age. People put too much trust in its methods and effectiveness. Their methods are at best empirical.

How does a child learn that fire is bad for him. No amount of counseling or psychiatry can deter him from touching it. He will only realise the fact after he tries it and finds out for himself.

If a sibling bullies another younger sibling you may attempt counseling to deter him from continuing it. Good luck on that. Either he does not understand what you are talking about or he will be too stubborn.

What if you try spanking so that he knows that the next time he bullies his younger sibling SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN TO HIM which is not pleasant. Because right now he knows that all that will happen is that he will be take on a ride across town to see that good looking lady with the glasses at that fancy office and the comfortable seat for two hours and he gets sweets afterwards.

Because some parents batter their children does not mean discipline is bad. This theory of

"because there are two bad tomatoes we will throw away the whole basket"

is simply out of place. I hate it later on when they blame serial killers on parental abuse, it is so cliche. I bet the defense lawyer spins that up to get the insanity or "psychiatric disorder' plea. Though EVERYONE knows that the killer was perfectly in his mind when he committed the crimes, God, he actually planned and covered up evidence, far from what an "insane or unstable" person will do. I got one word. The guy was simply nuts , end of story, how and when he got nuts is immaterial to the case at hand.

The fashion in which the rights of criminals, women and children are being administered are indeed in a unmitigated bad taste.

Problem Solution Effect

The extent of the sheepish behaviour of the human race is dumbfounding

Sometimes I think God was betting a little too high when he made humans 'in His image'.

I live in London and recently there has been of a series of "foiled" "terror attacks" on the great city and surrounding locations.

What astounds me is the timing of these "attacks". Even more is the circumstances around the "attacks"

Firstly it can be considered luck that the police found the first "bomb' (no conclusive evidence that it was a bomb...if there is they have gone to no great pains to assert it). But to find a second one under similar circumstances within a matter of hours is beyond chance.

About the burning car that was being driven at an airport, hmmm I don't think that incident warrants the attention it is getting. It is undeniably a crime but branding it a "terror attack" is stretching the fact somewhat.

Note also that non of the devices actually went off, this is a sure sign of amateurs at work not some great and terrible terrorist organisation. Also note how the situations were controlled, everything contained, almost a routine.

There are overtones hint of foreknowledge here. This could be either through clever detective work or some offhand involvement. If it is the first them odes to them and maybe these super sleuths should offer their endearing services to the ailing American occupation force in irq, they find themselves facing the full brunt of car bombs, the Yankees could sure use a hand.

In the case of the later scenario it would defeat all reason why a government would inflict such scare tactics on its own populace unless you look at it at the angle of introduction of controversial legislation.

This is fast becoming a popular theme this 21st century.

If a government wants to introduce controversial legislation, the public will reject it outright. So what does the government do. They have to create a situation were the controversial situation becomes attractive to the populace or even make the populace demand it.

For example the Patriot act in the Us was introduced days after 9/11. This act would have been flung out of congress had been presented before 9/11. But after 9/11 the American public embraced it. There is alleged considerable evidence that the Patriot act bill was drawn up long before 9/11. Hmmm.

The bill allowed a whole range of civil rights violation. the right to privacy was violated with phone, email taps and home raids without warrants. before 9/11 no American would have agreed to these but after 9/11 they are seem as essential.

But even when the "terror is gone" the bill is NOT dissolved, it remains in effect as law!

So the end result is that the government has succeeded in taking away another sliver of civil rights from the unwitting populace.

Same thing in England

Stop and search would have been unheard of before 7/9. But after that it became routine. Home raids have become common place on the news. police can even get away with shooting and killing civilians now. Police could now suddenly hold you for close to a month without charge!

Just a show of how the guard on civil rights is relaxed just because there is a terror threat that no one can substantiate before or after the event.

All they ever do is speculate over the possible perpetrators.

I predict that within a few days or weeks there will be new anti terror legislation passed to counter the recent "attacks". My bet these legislations were just sitting in some government safe waiting to be unveiled on the sheepish public.

What disturbs me most is that the public thinks this is for their own good, it might very well be. But they don realise that after the perceived threat is gone the legislation will remain in effect non the less an civil rights remain compromised

That brings me to the source of the threat. Well I'm just about fed up with the Osama rhetoric. It's a bit overplayed.

The government accuses distant vague characters to be behind all the "attacks". This is a far cry considering that Osama the leader of Al Quaeda has kidney problems and needs a dialysis machine once so often and has been seen entering a Pakistani hospital less than a stone throw away from an American base.

Soldiers Die So What?

It never ceases to amaze me how twisted the human populace can be.

I cannot understand how millions of people can be more concerned about Paris Hilton than about the global warming that might threaten their very existence! And not to mention that Paris Hilton (or any other celebrity) would not even bat an eye lid for this sheepish populace.

Sometimes I wonder if humans really deserve to dominate this planet. I accept that humans can be exceptionally brilliant but it is also fair to say that the majority are just a bunch of sheepish empty vessels that idolise anything and destroy anything.

scientist often refer to virus and such but the biggest virus is the human. It is slowly driving nature to the breaking point. what is odd about this is that you'd think by the way humans waste fresh water and oil they have zillions in reserve. Far from the truth.

Even virus are smart enough to have an ejection plan. When the cell dies after they have used up all its nutrients they destroy iit and occupy another. What will happen when our cell (the earth has been leached dry of recourese) . Do we have an ejection plan? I wish.

The US, supposedly the almighty nation can hardly send a dozen people to other outer orbit. The moon was a stretch and even that has highly questionable credibility. Even if it was real it was a fluke and cannot be done again let alone find another planet to settle.

So that means we are stuck here. Despite the fact that we know we can't up and leave, that we know we are wasting resources for luxury. that's human nature for you

Well I can only see one thing in the future.

The next big war will not be about some terrorist or some country trying to get nukes.

It will be about control of dwindling resources.

Iraq is a flashing neon sign of the times to come. Situations will get more desperate and more confrontational and states will became more direct about their campaign, no more fake reasons for invasions etc.

I watch the news and they are reporting that soldiers have dies in Iraq! what, they got to be kidding me. Soldiers are supposed to fight and die. that's the whole point of war.

I watched sky news people being interviewed and expressing shock on the soldiers been killed.

I think people have been watching too many GI Joe movies or Air Force One movies where only the "bad guys' die. I say wake up you idiots, you are at war soldiers die, that should not be news, its just a fact.

This is also a manifestation of the superiority complex. Well the deaths only serve to confirm the opposite, Besides even the kill tally is warped since the higher percentage of those killed by invasion forces are actually civilians.

Humans, i hate to say it but I think that God aimed a bit low by deciding we should run this joint. I bet he did it out of curiosity.

"Hmmm, I wonder. Will they all kill each other in one bloodbath hell ball nuclear war or will they last long enough to destroy the geo-eco-system and go out in one blazing sun bath."

The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns as it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish spurting out ink.
George Orwell

Most people would rather be certain they're miserable than risk being happy.
Robert Anthony

Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from a religious conviction.
Blaise Pascal

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Who benefits from war?

All throughout history wars have been fought.

At the beginning it was simple. One group of cavemen attacked another with bone heads because they were competing for a food source that could only support one group. Or because one group took the other's women or stole something.

War was good then As men got more "civilised" they began to form hierarchy in groups. wars were no longer fought on consensus about what was good for the group but increasingly more on the whims of the hierarchy. But still wars had a that level of self determination but along came the empires. Europe's Ceasars, Asias Gengis Khans, Russia's Tsars, Africa's Tshaka's, Middle East's Herods.

That was the end of war as we know it.

War became a device for the upper hierarchy. They could order it on the flimsiest of excuses. The people believing their leaders to be divine appointed followed like sheep to a slaughter house. Singing the horrid war cries till the last man drops.

This trend has become even more pronounced in the 20th and 21st century.

For example WW2, who really benefited from that war? Who were the real sponsors of Germany. Germany after WW1 was economically crippled and the Versailles Treaty only served to make sure the wound remained forever fresh. But Miraculously Germany rose from shear poverty to industrial might in less than 10 years. Recurrent evidence points to the injection of funds from outside Germany at that time. There was nothing wrong with someone investing. What was striking about this huge investment in Germany was the source, these were big companies from the victor nations.

This was odd, from the resolute of the Treaty it was in the victor nations' best interests to keep Germany crippled yet these firms were injecting funds. It seems clear that someone(s?) wanted Germany to rise again, and fast.

Why would anyone want this to happen especially with the fresh memories of the trenches, their foul smell and the putrid stench of pilled bodies. Yet here someone wanted a war again. Who could possibly gain anything by this.

Military industry is the only logical conclusion that can be reached from such data. This, and the striking occurance of senior government officials in the boards of such firms. The very same high level officials who are in charge of making policy about war! This is very bizzare to say the least.

There is clearly a conflict of interest here. everyone knows the darkness of human nature whatever their level of experience. How can a politician, of all people, resist such a temptation to profiteer from such an arrangement.

Take for example Cheney and Bush, they have very deep ties to Halleberton, which is a huge oil company and they happen to invade countries that have huge oil reserves. Is that a coincidence? Allegedly the Taliban had refused the American oil industry the go ahead to build a pipe line across Afghanistan, certain quarters maintain the real reason was to secure the laying and passage of the oil pipeline. Not true? Well I say no smoke without fire.

Bush asserted that Iraq was invaded because they had nuclear weapons. Well Iran and Korean are openly developing nuclear "capabilities" but NO-ONE is invading them. Is it because there is no oil in Korea, or is the 1950-3 war still too fresh in Bush's mind. Iran may have oil but the real reason they are not being invaded is unlike their ill-fated neighbour they actually have Nuclear "capabilities" and they have a far better army. Maybe it would be risking another Vietnam if they invade Iran, chilling thought.

So it is not surprising that the main oil companies to benefit from the invasion of Iraq have strong ties with the top brass that actually make the decisions to go to war, all for cheep oil.

Even when one looks at the angle of weapons manufacturer the same story echoes. The major manufacturers of gunships jet fighters are implicated and even major construction companies that win rebuilding bids after the destruction of the invasion have dodgy government ties. An example was the saga after the invasion of Iraq about the rebuilding programme.

people might think this is a recent development where war has become a business. But even back in WW2, Hitler allegedly used the punch card system computers supplied by IBM, an American company. The odd thing about this was that America was at war with Germany to stomp out Hitler. One might allege this was a one stop buy and the company did not support thee Fuhrer bu there is evidence of continuous supply and maintenance visits to keep the concentration camps running.

Business as usual? even if the customer is a mankind's enemy, or one could go as far as inferring collaboration.

Even in African conflicts, there has been evidence put forward that alleges that major powers covertly fan the conflicts and get the parties involved dependent on continuous supply of weapons, in the end perpetuating the weapons companies' profits with the huge sales they make as result. Not to mention which interesting individuals sit on the boards of these companies. One wonders how the wars never stop even though the conflicting parties do not have anything close to a weapons manufacturing factory in their command.

All about the green backs, humans tough luck?

One might argue that it all cannot be about money. I tell you, more probably than not, you are correct.

War or the threat of war creates the Saviour syndrome. Independent or free people cannot be controlled. This is because they have self determination and there are independent. People will not give up their right if they feel safe.

There is the universal form of war, where one society seeks to control another, this is open war, with an uncalculated end. This should never be confused with controlled conflict. In controlled conflict the instigators maintain control by the euphoria amoungst the population after the 'victory". Their minds will be set on the event of the win, which is just that, an event. The instigators are then able to consolidate their positions amoungst this short lived euphoria. Even on the "defeated side" control is established by the "i will raise you again" syndrome. Anyone who promises this will gain control of the defeated population.

But right now the instigators have realised that conflict on such a scale has unwanted effect and has high risk of generating random events, something they certainly do not want, they want predictability, something that goes according to plan.

So what should a government or an organisation do to ensure control? give the people something to fear and they will feel dependent on the said body to protect or exempt them from the threat.

In the old days the later, exempt from the threat was the the main one used. This was the classical dictatorship. "If you bow under me you will be exempt from the fear/actuation of the threat. This threat may be torture, disappearance or death.

This works in a non first world country as seem in the eastern block countries, and Africa.

But in countries that masquerade the illusion of democracy like most first world countries. the later will cause the undesired result, which may result in total lose of power of the instigator, as seem in the cases of Hitler and Mussolini and Stalin.

What works with the least risk is the first one, protection from the fear/ actuation of the threat. This has become the status quo of the first world.

"If you bow to me, I will protect you"

This is seen in the world trade centre situation. Bush come out of the incident with the words to the effect that if you give up your civil rights i will protect you from Osama Bin Laden (the assumed threat). This declaration was represented by the content of the Patriot Act. In the Iraq invasion, the perceived threat were the "nuclear weapons" in Saddam's hand, (which were never found).

Citizens of these said type of countries will only recognise the proposed threat after a demonstration of the threat. This has to be traumatic but non the less it is a very controlled demonstration. After the demonstration of the threat the citizens are offered the way out by th Saviour, at the cost of civil rights. This in-turn ensures the Saviour's continued dominance of the country. This is very recurrent theme in first world countries.

The threat is usually a perceived far away threat. even though the demonstration of the threat is supposedly by an outside instigator there are always overtones on the Saviour's involvement in the actuation of the threat. this is manifested by the spin of of conspiracy theories that cast a shadow on the "Saviour's shining armour." A resonating example is the Al Quada-CIA-Government links in 9/11.

Citizens of the said type of countries, because there is no direct show of malice from the Saviou to them unlike in the "exempt model", believe their Saviour to be "infallible" and will follow his assertions since he 'protects'. In this case they will readily dismiss the shadows cast on the Saviour.

This is the grim reality of war and all the threats that it presents. Its a means of redistributing wealth against the flow gradient i.e money will move to a very few individuals during a war, this will occur much faster than during normal times and will be to a disproportionately very few people.

War serves as a means of control, either with open conflict, when one society seeks to take over another. Controlled conflict and perceived threat serve to control the Saviour's own population. The observed trend is that those who have more of the money have more of the power. So acquiring the money is not a function of greed but a means of control. If you can control the money this reduces the necessity of actual violence. This is because e even though violence is effective it has an element of unpredictability and had therefore higher risk.

In the end its all about the concentration of money and power the prior serving to propagate the later even more. So the question is: Who has more of it?
